Totems

Designed and executed by David, the totems are his response to the Canadian experience, drawing upon his personal and European artisan traditions to give a contemporary spin to the powerful imagery found in the West Coast environment. David has an ongoing relationship with various First Nations artists, executing their work in glass. These totems resulted from his study of design elements and is are an attempt to balance the classical forms with his personal views.
